It's really hard for us, here in the valley to make it out. the other guys don't have liscenses, so If I can't make it... they pretty much can't either.

Snobbery...well unfortunately I'm full of it , but I try my best ot keep it cool and fun. I have seen a lot of new groups make things or do things that I would consider unsafe and I think that makes me seem a bit of a snob for my criticisms. However, my intentions are as well-meaning as any can be. If you want Bel/Dag legal weapons, I'm a pro at check and I volunteer my time at national and regional events frequently to keep up with the rules and weapon styles. At the same time, if funoodles are sufficient for your group and you don't want to hear about it, tell me to take a hike on it and I'll shut up and just fight. I won't be mad and I hope you won't be either.

It's funny cuz the same things happen to me when the 20 year vets tell me what to do. Although I do try and be patient with their "old person" ramblings.

By all means! If something we're using or doing is unsafe? Tell us. Even if that leaves us with no weapons to use for the day because they're foamy/PVC death! Tell us! The last thing any of our clan wants is to send some poor kid home with a gaping wound in his face because of something unsafe. Our goal here is to have anyone under any world show up and be able to deliver Nerfy death!

Noodle and duct tape weaponry suits us just fine for the time being, though anyone willing to help us construct bel/dag/amt legal weapons, is more than welcome. I'd hate to be able to show up to an event and have to use a loner because the weapons we showed up with are highly illegal.

Also, just to put it out there. There's an abandoned mall in Palm Springs. An entire mall that's been out of business for quite a while. Everything is still structurally sound and nothing is condemned last time I walked through there. Does anyone know, what it would take to get together an event there? Could you imagine a zombie attack LARP run through an entire mall for Halloween!?

OMG. I would get 10K killz and then die of a heart attack. That would be awesome. I'd think you should contact the realtor agency that owns it.

12th and 19th we're fighting (in Whittier I think) but I'd love to fight in the desert the same time y'all go out there.

I think we'll go up sometime before October 4th, but after when it's hot outside. It may be the 12th or right before the 4th.

Alas I wasn't able to make it to the Wyrd event. I appreciate the generosity though. It warms my heart to see so many people willing to help out.
