What's your preferred LARP style? (Live Combat vs. Theatre Style)

Theater Style, but I'm not opposed to swinging foam if it's part of a good plot!

How long have you been LARPing?

We have been roleplaying (D&D) since the mid 1970s. We started and ran our own theater style mystery LARP from the mid until the late1980s. We just began LARPing again in 2006, and plan on reviving our mystery LARP (Melodramatic Mysteries)in 2009.

What help would you provide others in the LARP community?
