Introduction

Well met! I've been playing tabletop rpgs since 1980, and discovered LARP in 1988. It has been a passion of mine ever since. I love to dance, sword-fight, and LARP. Most of my time is spent either with work or supporting the growing LARP community.

What's your preferred LARP style? (Live Combat vs. Theatre Style)

Live Combat. Something about a sword, even a foam one in my hand....I can roleplay decently, but I'm no actor by any stretch of the imagination.

How long have you been LARPing?

21 years. Found a European mag with an article on Fools and Heroes (LC LARP) 1988. Experimental with no Live Combat until 1992, when I bumped into the IFGS in SoCal. Before the internet, it was close to impossible to find out anything about the hobby

What help would you provide others in the LARP community?

Knowledge about our LARP community and help in getting to events.

    Where can you find 1/2" fiberglass/caarbon fiber cores

    "We have been some of the solid fiberglass from McMaster Carr. Ramsey knows where they are at (close to his work; we might be able to pick some up for you after work and bring them to practice)...."

    What rule system(s) are we using for weapons/magij (when we do).
