Heres how i'd like this practice to go down:
--> Elsinore Battle warm up.
RULES: split into approximately even teams. everyone starts with smallest weapons possible. when the game starts you may pick up any weapon and use it, but when you die, you only get to take one weapon/shield/item with you to respawn.
Intermission:
--> take a quick break for everyone to cool down and prep for next game, 10-15 minutes.
War:
-->RULES: split into two teams, and distribute weapons fairly evenly. each person gets the following; 3 abilities, 1 toughness, and 1 fortitude. The two team captains have +1 fortitude, and +2 abilities. additionally each team may get 1 healer.
-Toughness: ignore the first hit
-Fortitude: ignore a hit
Abilities:
->Spear/staff
--> Check: approx 5 foot knockback
--> trip: if a leg is struck, immediate knockdown
--> Stay: when pointed at a target, target cannot advance
->Sword
-->disarm: when weapon held in one hand is struck the target must drop it
->hammer/mace
--> smite: 5 second knockdown and stun if shield/torso is struck.
-> Axe
--> hook: if a weapon is stuck with hook it is "pinned" untill released.
-> Healer Abilities:
--> must use staff or small weapon. No shields.
--> can use 10 Heals per spawn
--> gets 3 revives per spawn
Scenerio:
To be determined. could be everything from "survive the zombies" to "kill the mage" or whatever else we come up with.
