Lore:
You recently received a mysterious letter inviting you to a “diplomatic council” in the Forest of Blades. Along the way, you may encounter other travelers with similar invitations – but seemingly little in common. The Forest of Blades is widely known to be one of the most dangerous regions on the continent, but fortunately the directions on the map indicate that the meeting place is just within the forest’s boundaries. Hopefully the terrible monsters said to lurk within the borders of the forest will let you reach the summit alive…
Note: Players may request a hard copy of this letter if you have submitted a character background to Veil plot staff.

Rules: The 3.0 Rules can be downloaded here: download/file.php?id=466
We will be using the Live Effects 3.0 rules with the following additions:

-You may phys-rep a bandage to heal a wound twice as quickly as usual.
-Potions must be phys-repped and physically "drank". Plot can provide phys reps if you have your item tags.
-You must provide phys reps if you wish to tie up a character with rope (or another material). You must have consent to actually tie a person up, otherwise the target should hold the rope in his or her hands. Tying a target up requires a three count. You cannot escape ropes without the "Escape Bonds" maneuver. Other means of escaping bonds are at Plot discretion.
-This game is using new Diplomacy rules, which can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=1836

Sleeping Rules:
If you wish to sleep out-of-game, you must provide a phys rep for your character's body in an in-game location and mark your tent out-of-game. This phys rep can be as simple as a pile of clothes with a tag that says "(x) Character's Body".

If you choose to take this approach, please inform Plot of anything you are doing to protect your tent, hut, tree, or whatever you are choosing to sleep in. Plot can provide markers to designate that your actual tent is out-of-game, just ask. You will still be sleeping in PC camp.

If you are not comfortable sleeping in PC camp at all for safety or medical reasons, speak to Plot and we can accommodate you, but you still will have to have a body tag and phys rep that remains in-game. Please note that this rule is not so Plot can just murder anyone in their sleep who chooses to go out-of-game at night, we will not be mindlessly slaughtering people, so you should still go out-of-game if you are not comfortable being woken up in-character by someone coming into your tent.

Notes: This game will include some horror elements. This may involve some physical contact with other players or game staff. If you are not comfortable with physical contact, please let us know before or during the game so that you will not experience any discomfort during the event.

We need PCs more than NPCs for this event. If you're debating which to play, we would prefer PCs.

Contact [masked] if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
